The Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI), Maryland’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the local cybersecurity ecosystem, has announced new appointments to its Board of Directors, including its Executive Committee.
Cybersecurity SME Dr. Timothy Schilbach, AboutWeb and Penacity CEO, has joined CAMI’s Board of Directors, composed of 24 prominent technology and cybersecurity leaders, drives the organization’s programming to best accommodate CAMI’s 600 members and the broader Maryland cybersecurity community.
“We are thrilled to welcome new members to our experienced Board of Directors,” said Tasha Cornish, Executive Director of CAMI. “We are eager to see the innovative ideas they will develop as stewards to Maryland’s cybersecurity industry.”
Dr. Timothy Schilbach is CEO of AboutWeb and Penacity, a trusted provider of cybersecurity services based in Hanover, MD. Founded in 2016 on the principle that through security testing of humans and machines, Penacity can enable customers to maintain the highest security posture while protecting the most sensitive information. Penacity is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Dr. Schilbach serves on the Board of Directors for the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc.(CAMI).
