July 7, 2020 (Hanover, MD) –Thanks to a generous grant from the State of Maryland, Penacity and AboutWeb have acquired two new, industrial-grade 3-D printers to increase the volume of PPE donations we are printing for local medical centers, veterinary offices, dentistry offices, non-profits supporting at risk populations (such as cancer and heart disease), and other essential businesses supporting the fight against COVID-19.
These new 3-D printers will allow us to print our high-demand surgical mask tension bands around the clock out of our Hanover, MD office – which is necessary to keep up with the high demand we are receiving from local hospitals, businesses, and communities.
“We are honored to be able to provide our 3-D printed PPE to essential workers at this critical time,” said Dr. Timothy Schilbach, CEO of Penacity and AboutWeb (pictured above). “Giving back to our communities is a deeply entrenched value for both companies, and we appreciate the support of the State of Maryland which allows us to increase our output of these much-needed materials.”
Penacity and AboutWeb are leading providers of cybersecurity solutions, IT consulting, and product development.
