AboutWeb Celebrates UMD’s Academic Achievement Program 50th Anniversary

AboutWeb CEO Robert Epstein and AAP Executive Director Dr. Jerry Lewis

August 30, 2019 (College Park, MD) – AboutWeb CEO Robert Epstein had a great time celebrating the AAP Academic Achievement Program’s 50th Anniversary last night at his alma mater, the University of Maryland in College Park. Dr. Jerry Lewis, pictured above with Epstein, has been the Executive Director there for the past 48 years.

AAP serves traditionally under-represented and low-income and first-generation college students, providing academic support, skill enhancement, academic advising, counseling, and tutoring.

“I hope I can follow in Dr. Lewis’ footsteps to model many of his achievements changing lives for the better through our AboutWeb Cares Program,” said Epstein. “I’m also so glad the President Loh was there to show his support.”
