October 31, 2018 (Baltimore, MD) – AboutWeb was thrilled to receive a citation from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen’s office for winning the National HUBZone Contractors Council 2018 Corporate Citizen of the Year award.
The Senator’s Citation reads:
“This Citation is presented to AboutWeb, LLC in recognition of its visionary leadership and being named the 2018 Corporate Citizen of the Year by the National HUBZone Council for its AboutWeb Cares program, with appreciation for its efforts to provide training and to create opportunities for economically disadvantaged communities, and with best wishes for its continued success.”
We’re grateful for the recognition we have received for the work we are doing with AboutWeb Cares to provide paid IT experience, free Google and Microsoft certification training, and free professional attire to people from economically disadvantaged areas.
