April 26, 2018 (Baltimore, MD) – AboutWeb was pleased to participate in Take Your Child To Work Day, providing enriching exposure to the IT industry to young students with the hope of creating that IT spark that will inspire them to pursue careers in IT fields.
“The goal is to provide them with something they can get excited about. We want to cultivate a desire to learn more about the technologies that will be shaping the future,” said AboutWeb President and CEO, Robert Epstein.
In addition to participating in national Take Your Child To Work Day, AboutWeb is seeking to create the technology spark in Baltimore City’s residents who are working to get out of poverty through the AboutWeb Cares division, which provides paid IT job training and on the job experience.
