For the 19th consecutive year, AboutWeb has continued its tradition of giving canned food and sundry items to local area shelters. This year’s recipient was the Salvation Army Shelter in Baltimore City, Md. “It is very important for our team to understand that even though our successful company makes us feel like we are living in a bubble, there are many others out there who are suffering; and it is important to acknowledge and understand this in order to be a better person and corporate citizen,” stated Robert Epstein, Co-Founder/President & CEO of AboutWeb. Every year around the holidays, AboutWeb has employees travel to deliver food to area shelters in their community to see firsthand how the organizations provide for the needs as well as see in action how this makes a difference in the lives of the folks that are served. “AboutWeb has always been a company with a social conscience,” said Robert Epstein.
