AboutWeb completed its latest security assessment for an Internet startup. AboutWeb assessed the startup’s ColdFusion infrastructure after concerns that it was not secure and could be exploited by an attacker. The startup choose AboutWeb due to our expertise with securing web applications and web application servers. The assessment was a combination of automated scans with Tenable Nessus and manually inspecting the configuration of the servers in comparison to standard benchmarks. The assessment also covered details of their DevOps infrastructure that use Chef and Vagrant to build the servers.
